Unpopular opinion alert - I’m kind of glad she didn’t. I felt bad for Castle, seeing him get reamed out by Sophia like that, but it also struck me as a conversation meant for the two of them, and not one Beckett should have stepped in on. Hearing Sophia say “You can’t re-write the ending like you did for us” (or thereabouts) just confirmed that.

Yep. And it must be kind of weird for Beckett, seeing someone else lay into him like that, because she’s done it at least a dozen times. I feel like she’s said almost those exact words to him before, about it being real life and not one of his books.

^ YES. Exactly. And she totally did tell him something very similar in “The Final Nail,” right?
